Her birth date is March 29th, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. The mother of two is Mexican American and is American through the nationality. Gerina has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina started playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina completed her high school studies in Goddard High School. At the age of 16, she was a winner in New Mexico's state golf tournament. A volleyball player, she participated in state championships. At the age of 2003, she enrolled at the University of Texas. In her final year, she won every tournament she entered. In her undergraduate professional career, she took home her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and Female UTEP athlete of the Year.
